Go with New/Used Cool Desk for Home Office?

I am looking at buying a new desk for my home office. What do you suppose of this sweet desk? Spouse and I can not agree on desk for home office. http://www.officefurniturelocators.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/product-thumb/desk1-pic1.jpg I think it is a magnificent looking desk but my spouse doesn't think so. What do you all believe? It is reconditioned and a high-end desk for a professional office, but my wife wishes for a new one from Office Depot. What do you all guess?
